Passed peacefully away with his family by his side on January 28, 2024, at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, Michael “Junior” Price, aged 75 years.
Predeceased by his wife, Alva “Lorraine” Price (Kearley); father, Michael; step-father, Alexander Lodge; parents in-law, Edward & Jessie Kearley.
Leaving to mourn with loving memories and broken hearts are his three daughters, Gloria (Howard), Kim (Corwin), Jessie (Darryl); mother, Marjorie Lodge; grandchildren, Travis (Francesca), Jonny (Rebecca), Joshua (Chloe), Jordan, Cori (Nick), Mallory, Barbara (Ivan), Elaine (Kenny), Darlene (Josh); great-grandchildren, Trsitan, Tara, Aiden, Wyatt, Jace, Layla; brother and sisters, Ron (Sandy) Price, Rita Price, Ambrosene (Fred) Follett; sisters in-law, Pearl and Nina; special friends, Carol and Addie, Verenia and John, Bill and Mary, Mike Brinston, Jimmy Baker, Lisa Mews; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A special thank you to Dad’s homecare workers, the staff of Marystown Retirement Centre, as well as the nurses and doctors of the ICU and medicine ward at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre for the exceptional care given to Dad over the last few months.
As per Dad’s wishes, cremation has take place.

2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
A funeral service to celebrate Dad’s life will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel, Grand Bank on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11:00 am. Inurnment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank.
In Dad’s memory donations may be made to the Michael Junior Price Memorial Fund, by e-transfer to payments@wisemansfh.ca, in person or by mail c/o Wiseman’s Funeral Home, P.O. Box 548, Marystown, NL A0E 2M0.
