It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Michael Dicks of Rushoon announces his passing at the Blue Crest Nursing Home in Grand Bank on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024, at the age of 90.
Michael is predeceased by his loving wife; Priscilla (nee Vaters), father, Christopher; mother, Mary (nee Barry); sister, Mary Francis Cheeseman; brothers-in-law, Joseph Cheeseman, and Fred Norman.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his sister, Susie Norman; many nieces and nephews, especially dedicated nephew, Howard Cheeseman (Mike O’Keefe); plus extended family and friends.
Special thank you to the staff at the Blue Crest Nursing Home, Social Workers, Cynthia Norman and Kim Vaters; Public Health Nurse, Sharon Fewer; Home Care Workers, Irene Ryan, Geraldine Fewer, Bev Cheeseman, Lillian Barry. Also thanks to Bill Bennett, Gertie Ricketts and Marie Cheeseman for support and guidance.
The Dicks Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Marystown on:
Friday, May 3rd, 2024 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Mass of Christian burial for Michael will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Marystown on
Saturday, May 4th at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Christ the King Roman Catholic Cemetery in Rushoon.
In Michael’s memory, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice or flowers gratefully accepted.
