It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Helen Wells of Fortune announces her passing. Helen passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Wednesday, January 11, 2024, at the age of 75.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband Aubrey of 54 years; son, Paul Wells (Marion) of Fortune; daughter, Audrey Warren (Derrick) of Fortune; grandchildren, Shauna Brennan (Chad), Justin Wells (Denise), Gerald Warren (Colby), Sarah Warren (Riley); great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Emily, C.J.; sisters, Marie Hillier (Clyde), Marina Thornhill (Kerry), Carolann Revert; brother, Melvin Thornhill (Celeste), sisters in-law; Dorothy Prior, Judy Whittle, Maisie Matterface, Carmie Oake; brothers in-law, David Hatch, Clyde Wells, Clyde Bath; plus a large circle of family and friends.
Helen was predeceased by her parents, Sarah & Eli Thornhill; parents in-law, Rebecca & James Wells; sisters in-law, Bride Griffiths, Lucy Bath; brothers in-law, Pat Whittle, Claude Revert, Sam Prior.

Funeral Service will take place at All Saints Anglican Church, Fortune on Monday, January 15th, 2024 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at All Saints Anglican Cemetery, Fortune.
No flowers by request of the family.
