It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Elsie Amy Stewart-Fournier announces her passing at the Blue Crest Nursing Home in Grand Bank on October 18th, 2024 at the age of 79.
Leaving to mourn are her sisters, Winnie Walters of Boat Harbour, Shirley Walters (Norman) of Boat Harbour, Rita Pardy (Donald) of Boat Harbour, Alice Brinton of Marystown, Violet Pardy (Norman) of Boat Harbour, Nina Brushett (William) of Bay L’argent, Beverly Stewart of Bay L’argent; sister in-law, Alice Stewart of Bay L’argent; plus a large circle of relatives and friends.
Elsie was predeceased by her husband, John H. Fournier; parents, Bridget and Joseph Stewart of Bay L’argent; brother, William Stewart of Bay L’argent; parents in-law, Thomas and Yvonne Fournier, brothers in-law, Randell Walters and William Brinton.
In honoring her wishes, cremation will take place.
An inurnment will be held at the Burin Heritage Cemetery in Burin on:
