It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Eli Smith of Marystown announces his passing. Eli passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Monday, November 27th, 2023, at the age of 58.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his partner, Jeanette West of 28 years; son, Robbie Smith of Marystown; daughter, Amber Smith (Cameron Mackey) of Marystown; sister, Kim Stewart of Manitoba and Catherine Drake (Calvin) of Burin; brothers, Jerry Smith (Agnes) of Marystown and Scott Smith (Josie) of Marystown; nephews, Scott Jr. (Alham), Philip, Leon, Jerome and Perry; nieces, Denika (Steve), Nicole, Karen, Trish, Lisa, Loressa, Lavelle, Lydia, Tammy & Krista; mother-in-law, Judy West of Grand Bank; sisters-in-law, June Smith of Brookside and Jennifer West of St. John’s; plus a large circle of relatives and friends.
Eli was predeceased by his parents, James & Jessie Smith; brothers, Lee Smith (Linda) and Randell Smith; cousin, Roland Saunders; and father-in-law, Oscar West.
The Smith Family will be accepting visitors at Peninsula Funeral Home, Creston on

Friday, December 1st
10am – 12noon
2pm – 4pm
Funeral Service will take place at Peninsula Funeral Home, Creston on Friday, December 1st, 2023 at 4:00 pm. Cremation will follow.
