He is predeceased by his parents Ida and Edgar Saunders; brothers Andy and Norman; sister Vera.
He leaves to mourn his wife Ann; sons Manuel (Amanda), Ian (Maureen); daughters Lera (Rob) and April; brother Harold (Jocelyn); sisters Cindy, Harriett, Elsie (Roy), and Sheila; as well as nine grandchildren.
Manuel was a son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. He loved being with his family and especially enjoyed his time with his nine grandchildren. Those who knew him knew he loved his time camping or at the cabin with a guitar in his hands, and a good sing-a-long with family and friends. Manuel will never be forgotten by the so many that he touched.
