It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Shirley Ann Mavin of Fortune announces her passing. Shirley passed away at Chancellor Park in St. John’s, surrounded by her loving family on February 28, 2024 at the age of 73.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her daughter, Donna Kearley (Greg) of Venice, FL ; son, Greg Mavin(Trina) of St. John’s; her grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Cody, Stephanie, Michael, Adam, Noah, Kaia; special aunt, Vera Moulton; plus a large circle of extended family and many friends.
Shirley was predeceased by her husband, Don; parents, Frances & John Handrigan; sister, Lillian Handrigan; brother, Morgan Handrigan; parents in-law, Jane & Bill Mavin.
The Mavin Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home on:
Sunday, March 3, 2024
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
A funeral service will take place at the Fortune United Church, Monday, March 4, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
Interment to follow at Fortune United Church Cemetery.
In Shirley’s memory donations may be made to Gran-For-Line Association or flowers gratefully accepted.
