German Preston passed peacefully away at Bonnew’s Lodge, Wesleyville, on November 1, 2024.
He is predeceased by his parents Maude and Simeon Preston; spouse Dorothy Winters; siblings Daisy Collins, Eric Preston, Fred Preston, William Preston, Bessie Saunders, Lucy Parsons, Raymond Preston, Una Roberts, Kate Wilkins.
Leaving to mourn is a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Germ worked in his younger years as a logger in Labrador. He worked at the fish plant in Dover up until his retirement. He loved going in the woods to cut his winter firewood, rabbit catching, picking berries, and fishing. He loved the great outdoors.
