Obituary
Hubert Ellis House passed peacefully away at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre, in Port Saunders, NL, on Monday, May 6th, 2024, surrounded by his family at the age of 86 years.
Hubert is survived by his wife of 65 years, Sadie nee Pittman, his daughter Cynthia (Terry); daughter-in-law; Wanda. Grandchildren; Shawn (Lisa), Karla (Mike), Gary, Stephanie (Craig), Brett (Ann Marie), Darren (Genice). Great grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Adam, Julie, Jared, Michael, Conner, Nathan & Ryan. Sisters; Edna (Leonard) & Gladys, brother-in-law, Gerald Humber. In-laws; Carl, Lucy, Coyley (Geraldine), Laud (Irene), Alonzo, Rod (Glenda) & Velma. Also left to mourn are many special nieces, nephews and special friends.
Hubert was predeceased by his son Barry. Parents Abraham and Ivy House. In-laws; Norman and Elsie Pittman. Sister Barbara; brother, Jacob (Ethel); and brothers-in-law; Lorne & Ralph.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Rufus Guinchard Health Centre, who took special care of dad.
The family will be receiving family and friends at the St. Peter’s Anglican Church in River of Pond’s, NL, on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024, from the hours 7-9, and continuing on Thursday, May 9th, 2024, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place on Friday, May 10th, 2024, at 2:00 pm, with Rev: Marie Smith officiating.
Then keeping with Hubert’s wishes cremation will take place.
