It is with great sadness the family of Gordon Head announce his passing on, February 5, 2024, at Western Long Term Care Home in the palliative care unit, Corner Brook at the age of 67 years.
He leaves to mourn with many memories his spouse Glenda, daughter; Bethann and son; Cody. Siblings; Edward, Joe (Beverly), Phyllis (Jerome), Mary (Peter) and Joy (Cyril). Mother-in-law; Christina, Brothers-in-law; Brian (Kimberley), Michael (Lindsay) and Sister-in-law; Shirley. Also left to mourn are a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Gordon was predeceased by his parents George & Doris Head, Brothers; James, Hubert, Maurice, and Cecil, Sister; Beatrice, father-in-law; Harold, brother-in-law; Lewis and sisters-in-law; Diane and Eileen.
Gordon had a good sense of humor and loved to joke and carry on. He really enjoyed the outdoors, especially anything to do with being out in boat. He loved going fishing and having a cook up on the beach.
In keeping with Gordon’s wishes cremation will take place. There will be a graveside service and internment on Friday, February 16, 2024, at the new Anglican cemetery in Jackson’s Arm at 2pm.
The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the doctors, nurses, and staff that cared for him at Western Long Term Care Home of the Palliative Care Unit.
