Obituary
It is with great sadness that the families of the late Edith Agatha Moss announce her passing at the Long-Term Care Facility, in Corner Brook, NL, on Saturday, February 17th, 2024, at the age of 89 years.
She was predeceased by her parents; Fanny and Charles Moss, her stepmother; Margaret, her brothers; Harvey and Charles Jr, her sisters; Emma and Doris, brothers-in-laws; Bud Hamlyn, William Knott, and Derek Sparkes, her sisters-in-law; Betty Moss and Mary Moss.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her two special nieces; Bernice, and Geraldine, and nephew; Tony, brothers; Angus, and Reg, sisters; Hazel, Judy, and Ann, her sisters-in-law; Genevieve Moss, and Juanita Hancock, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friend; Betty Gillard. She loved her fury babies; Pywacket, and Patches.
Edith left home at an early age, taught school in Cooks Harbor, and finished her education in Goose Bay, Lab. She travelled to New York and worked with I.B.M, till returning to Canada. She transferred back to Toronto, where she lived and worked till, she retired, then returned home to N.L.
She loved to cook, sew, travel and became active member in the Lion’s Club.
In keeping with Edith’s wishes cremation will take place and a memorial service and an inurnment will take place on Monday, July 8th,2024 at the Anglican church in Daniel’s Hr. at 2 pm with Rev. Terry Rose officiating. Interment will follow at the family plot.

The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Parsons Funeral Home 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL.
The family would like to thank the Doctors, nurses, and staff at the Corner Brook long term care facility, in Corner Brook, NL, for all the care and compassion for Edith while her stay at the facility, thank-you so much.
