Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wade Eric White announce his passing on June 12th, 2024 at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit at the age of 56 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 30 years: Tammy; their children: Kylene Pike (Skyler), and Caleb White (Nicole); precious grandchildren: Madison and Jasper Pike, and Isaiah and Hudson White; his parents: Eric and Dora White; sister: Bonnie White-Urbenz (Al Mosquera); nieces and nephews: Cassandra and Marcus Urbenz, Jordan and Gavin Young, and Brookelynn and Kayden Young; parents-in-law: Eugene and Millie Young; brothers and sisters-in-law: Chris Young (Heather), Brooks Young (Sasha), and Annette Young (Mike Ryan); as well as a large circle of other relatives, and many friends, including his caregivers: Carol Knott, and Sean McKinnon.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the attending paramedics, as well as the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Western Long-Term Care-Palliative Unit, especially Dr. Lorena Power. All of your support, kindness, and compassion will not be forgotten.
There will be a visitation held on Saturday, June 15th, 2024 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 2-4 PM, and 7-9 PM. Cremation to follow. There will be a funeral service held at the First Pentecostal Church on Monday, June 17th, 2024 at 10 AM with Pastor Larry Soper officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted, or a donation can be made in Wade’s memory to the Parkinson’s Society of Newfoundland (nlparkinson.ca/) or the United For Kids Foundation ufkidsf@gmail.com.
