With heavy hearts, we the family of the late Ronald Peter Companion announce his passing on Sunday, March 10th, 2024 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 71 years.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his children: Craig (Sandra), Paul (Jennifer), Steven (Sonya); grandchildren: Taylor, Racheal, Chelsie, Kaitlyn and Evan; great grandchildren, Carter and Julian; sisters, Agnes (Jack), Pauline (Gord), Judy (Wade), Jenny (Amos); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ronald is predeceased by his parents Theresa and Cyril, sisters Yvonne (Jack), Gertrude (Herbert) and his brothers Henry, Byrne, Joseph and Dave.
The family wishes to extend a special, and heartfelt thank you to all the caregivers, doctors and nurses who helped take care of Ronald over the last few years.
There will be no formal visitation or funeral at this time. As per Ronald’s wishes, cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Ronald’s memory to the Xavier House in Corner Brook.
