It is with great sadness, the family of Reginald Howell announce his passing on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre at the age of 80.
Predeceased by his mother, Gertrude Howell, his father, James Howell and brothers Lesley and Herman, also, father-in-law: Maxwell Butt, mother-in-law Beulah Butt and sister-in-law: Ina Mahu.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife, Marilyn (née Butt) Howell; his children: Lindsey (Roxanne), Tina (John Downey), Dana ( Todd Philpott) and Robyn (Jeremiah Jamieson); grandchildren: Alicia, Lynea, Kayla, Benjamin, Emily and Grace-Sea and great grandchildren: Nashawn, Serenity and McKinley. Reggie was also loved and will be remembered by a large circle of close family and friends.
He was most at peace when he was up to his cabin working away at various projects or sitting back with a cup of tea and toast, listening to the brook. He especially enjoyed it when family and friends dropped in for a visit or a campfire.
Visitation to take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home on Wednesday December 20, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm with a family service to follow on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 11:00 am
Reggie’s contagious smile and kind heart will be missed by all who knew him, but especially his family.
Memorial donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice in Reggie’s memory.
Funeral arrangements has been entrusted with Fillatre’s Funeral Home.
