Maxine Sylvia Chaulk
September 18, 1940 – May 1, 2024
It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Maxine Chaulk announce her peaceful passing into the presence of the Lord on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Leaving to mourn with loving memories are her children: Todd (Debbie), Sherry (Burton), Johnny (Pam), Brian (Marcy), Lisa (Alonzo), and Stacey (Darren); grandchildren Ryan (Jo-Ellen), Stephanie, Kathryn (James), Christopher (Krysta), Krista (Chris), Jonathan (Victoria) Rebecca (Brandon), Thomas (Desiree), Heather (Sherra), Grant (Kelsey), Julia (Jordan), Cody (Caitlyn); great-grandchildren Kayley (Jeremy), Kate, Ellie, Hailie, Leighton, Emberley, Caeden, Benjamin, Ashton, Maisie, and Sadie; great-great-grandson William; sisters Margaret Manuel and Ellen Ball; brother Scott Ball; sister-in-law Pearl Nichols; brother-in-law Ed King; and a very large circle of family and friends.
Maxine was predeceased by her loving husband John of 61 years; parents Scott and Ethel Ball; mother and father-in-law Bond and Julia Chaulk; sisters Valetta King, Yvonne Ball (Dempsey), Louise (Melvin) Thomas, Peggy Caines (John), Sophie Ball, and Joy Ball; sisters-in-law Carol Ball, Winnie Roberts (George), Bertha Gosse (Charles), and Joyce Elliott (Ralph); brothers-in-law Pleman Manuel and Raymond Nichols.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from the hours of 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm. A funeral service will take place at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, 45 Bennett Avenue on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at 2:30 pm with Pastor Jeffrey White officiating. An interment will follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery.
