It is with great sadness the family of the late Margaret May Youden announce her passing at the age of 82 years from the Western Long-Term Care (Stillwaters). Margaret leaves to mourn her children; Carol Gilbert (Ivan), Judy Murrin (Woodrow), Ivan Youden (Gail), George Youden (Helen), Ruby Sheppard (Michael), and Sharon Wheaton (Pete). Her grandchildren; Kelly, Janice, Jonathan, Phillip, Bradley, Christopher, Paula, Michael, Meagan, Mitchell, Derrick, Craig, Travis, Justin, and Zachery. Great grandchildren and one great greatgrandchild. Her sister; Ann Skanes (Fred). Her brothers; Eric Sheppard (Judy) and Ben Sheppard (Wanda). Her sister in-laws; Marion Taylor, Sarah Xenos, Lesley Sheppard, Elizabeth Pritchett, Kay Sheppard, and Lorraine Sheppard. Her brother in-law; Kenneth Sheppard and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. She is predeceased by her husband Walter Youden, Son; baby Walter Youden, granddaughter; Kaylie Wheaton. Parents; George Henry Sheppard and Dorcas Sheppard-Earle. Sister; Mary Sacrey and brothers; Gideon Sheppard, George Sheppard, Herbert Sheppard and John Sheppard.
The family would like to extend thank-you to all the staff at Stillwaters Western Long-Term Care for the exceptional care of our mother and grandmother during her stay there.
A visitation will be held at St. James Anglican church, Lark Harbour on Friday December 29th 2023 from the hours of 2-4PM & 7-9PM from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday December 30th 2023 at 2PM with Reverend Effie Organ officiating. Flowers are graciously accepted or a donation in her memory can be made to the St. James Anglican church fund.
