February 10, 1936 – April 5, 2024
The family of the late Joan (Rolls) Hunt would like to announce her peaceful passing at the Western Long Term Care Palliative Care Unit on April 5, 2024. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories and many instructions her daughters: Brenda, Jennifer (Troy White), Paulette (Steve Christopher); grandchildren: Ashley (Jim Pearce), and Adam (Dianna); great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Lily, Jaylen, and William; brother, Doug Hampton (Sis) and special niece Paula Mercer; sisters-in-law: Marion (Lloyd Burton), Gloria (Elwood Parsons), and brother-in-law Fred Hunt (Carolyn); her faithful canine companion CoCo; and a large circle of extended family and friends.
Joan was predeceased by her loving husband, Don, her sister Grace Abbott, her son-in-law Stan Cooper; brothers-in-law: Jack, Ralph, David, and Wayne; and sisters-in-law: Liz, Betty, and Joyce.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Palliative Care Unit who went above and beyond to keep our mother comfortable during her final days.
Cremation has taken place, and a private inurnment will be scheduled at a later date.
