It is with great sadness and a sudden passing of a beloved husband of 45 years, went to rest with his wife by his side, in their happy place, the cabin in Peter strides on, August 3, 2024.
Jacob was 68 years old and a hardworking man to support his family. He had a passion and love for boats. He worked for coast guard for 11 years. After he retired, he still went to work on the ferries around Newfoundland. He met many wonderful people along his journeys in life, that he called his friends.
Besides his love for his wife, he dearly loved his children, and he enjoyed every minute he spent with them. Then, in his life, came along his four grandchildren, that he would do anything for. His love was unconditional for all his family and his smile would say it all. The memories will always be shared and remembered in the days to come. He was a great husband, father, father-in-law, uncle, brother, friend and certainly the best poppy. He will be forever missed by all who knew him.
Leaving to mourn his wife Dianne Warren; Children: Jarvis (Melissa) and Priscilla (Darryl); grandchildren: Sierra, Parker, Amelia, and Jacob; siblings: George (Phoebe), Ephraim (Blanche), Nate (Evelyn), Harvey (Kelly), Wilson (Tina), Annie (Doug), Susan (Terrance), Maryann (Rod), Wanda (Calvin) and Jessie. His brothers and sisters-in-law, his nieces, and nephews, and a large circle of friends.
Predeceased by his parents Hannah Jane Warren and John Henry Warren.
No funeral service as requested. A ceremony to be held at the Burgeo Community Cemetery on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.
