It is with heavy hearts the family of the late Isaac Tatchell announce his passing on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Care Centre, in Port Saunders, NL, 83 years young.
Isaac was known for his love of the outdoors. His early life was filled with many endeavours from fishing, logging and the use of heavy equipment. His love for family was evident from providing a future for them, to the talk around the table after a hard days work.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Gerard (Susanne), Randell (Patsy), Fred (Darlene), Melita (Edwin), Tammy (Keith), Isaac Jr (Denise); grandchildren: Ashley (Robert), Robert (Janna), Gerard (Michelle), Dalton, Dylan (Felicia), Nico (Kristen), Sabrina (Andrew), Ashton, Brayden, Jasmine, Nikki, Ashton Fillier; great-grandchildren: Jayden, Drea, Jada, Jorja, Jayla, Zack, Taylor, Addison, Grayson and sister-in-law Eudora.
He is predeceased by: parents Isaac and Alicia Tatchell, grandchild Frederick, great-grandchild Jay, brothers: Pius, Gabriel, Anthony, Walter and Stanley.
Visitation will take place at St. Anne’s Chapel, Castor River North, NL.
Tuesday, September 3, 2024 from 7pm – 9pm
Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 2pm-4pm with Family Service 7pm -9pm.
Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday @ 11am with Father Rossi Officiating. Cremation will follow.
