It is with great sadness that the family of the late Henrietta Pokue (Selma) announce her passing on April 11th, 2024, at the Labrador Health Centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL at the age of 48 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband: Andrew Pokue; children: Annette Selma, Tonya Selma, Melissa Restole, Joseph Pokue, Ishenu Pokue; Dad: John Selma; brother: John Joseph Nuna; grandchildren: Tyler, Angel, Many, Shaelyn, Violet, Jesse, Mina, Pashin, Maninush, and Luna; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Henrietta was predeceased by Mom: Mina; brother: John Selma Jr.; grandma: Penash; grandma: Josephine Abraham; grandpa: Joseph Abraham; grandpa: Philip Selma; and grandmother: Philomena Selma.
Family and friends may visit at her home, 14 Sebastian, in Sheshatshiu, starting at 6:00PM on Sunday, April 14th, 2024.
The funeral will be held on Monday, April 15th, 2024, at the Roman Catholic Church in Sheshatshiu, NL at 1:00PM with Father Joe officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Sheshatshiu, NL.
