Gerald Hayman
May 20, 1947 – December 23, 2023
It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Gerald Hayman announce his passing on December 23, 2023, at the age of 76 years.
He leaves to mourn his wife of 46 years, Leona; brothers Allan (Margaret) Hayman, Clyde (Carol) Hayman, and Ronald (Christina) Hayman; sisters Rita (Malcolm) Osmond and Winetta (Wilson) Osmond; brother-in-law Clayton (Lucy) Crewe; sisters-in-law Elsie (Don) Dove, Josephine Hill (Bill), Annie Hayman, and Helen Hayman; and a large number of nieces and nephews.
Gerald was predeceased by his parents John and Dinah Hayman; brothers Hartley, John, and Hubert Hayman; sisters Hilda (Gordon) Musseau, Grace (Norman) Vardy, and Margaret Hayman; father and mother-in-law Benjamin and Sarah Crewe; brother-in-law Gordon Crewe; and sister-in-law Norma Hayman.
The family would like to thank Western Long Term Care Palliative Unit nurses and staff for their care and compassion.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from the hours of 1:00-3:00 pm, where also the funeral service will take place immediately after visitation with Rev. Canon Jeffrey Petten officiating.
