It is with profound sadness the family of the late Dawson Janes announce his passing from the Western Long Term Care Palliative unit on December 28th 2023, at the age of 76 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 57 years; Sylvia, his son; Darren (Shelley), his grandchildren; Daniel and Sarah. Step grandson; Luke (Kerstian) and great granddaughter; Lilly. His siblings; Randy (Lottie), Daisy (Dave), Rennie (Mary) and Paula.
He is predeceased by his parents; Edward and Elsie Janes, his brothers; John, Dennis, and Todd.
Also, leaving to mourn nieces, nephews, and a large circle of relatives and many friends.
A visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home on Saturday December 30th 2023 from the hours of 2-4PM and 7-9PM. The funeral service will take place on Sunday December 31st 2023 from Westside Tabernacle on Elizabeth Street, Corner Brook NL. at 11AM with Pastor Bill Cole officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
