The Tiller Family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to those who have helped bring our family comfort during this difficult time. We would like to thank everyone who came to the funeral home for his celebration of life and to those of you who sent food, cards and made donations in his name. Your kindness will not be forgotten. Also, thank you to Rev. Jocelyn Cook for your prayers and kindness. Thank you to Country Haven Funeral Home staff who went out of their way to help with the funeral details. Your professionalism and support was truly appreciated. A special thank you to the doctors and nursing staff on floor 3B for your care and compassion shown during his short hospital stay.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Allister E. Tiller announce his passing on Monday, April 29th, 2024 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 88 years. He passed peacefully, and will forever be remembered as one of the most kind hearted, sweet, and calm men we all knew.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife: Audrey; children: Jerry (Paulette), Paula (Jeremy), David (Sheri), Kimberley (Phil), and Mark (Kelly); grandchildren: Janice, Kelly, Meaghan, Kelsey, Jack, Sarah, Alex, and Matt; two great-grandchildren: Lilly, and Luke; his siblings: Stuart (Mildred), Blanche (George), and June (Cec); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and long-term friends.
Allister is predeceased by his parents: Fred and Matilda; and siblings: Ellis, Raymond, and Jean.
At his request, cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life held on Monday, May 6th, 2024 at Country Haven Funeral Home from the hours of 7-9 PM. There will be no formal funeral service at this time. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Allister’s memory to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
