Passed peacefully away at GB Cross Memorial Hospital after a very short but courageous battle with cancer at the age of 51 years, surrounded by her family.
Predeceased by her father Leo Pineault and husband Darrell Miller (who passed in September 2023 after a short but courageous battle of esophageal cancer). Left with fond memories are son Tyler (Camille), daughter Katelin, youngest daughter Kristen (Keigan), loving mother Cecile, brother Paul (Cathy), sister in law Cheryl, nieces, nephews, her special little “grand baby” Nora, a large circle of friends, and her 5 fur babies – Clank, James, Zoey, Luna and Marble.
Michelle moved to Newfoundland from Ontario in November 2023 after her husband passed to be closer to her son. She loved the salty, ocean breeze, was in awe of Newfoundland’s scenery and absolutely adored fish fry’s at Debbie’s. Everyone who knew her, knew her to be quick witted but with a kind heart to anyone who needed a lending hand.
Many, many thanks to doctors at G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Mitchelmore for following Michelle’s care during the week we got to take her home so she could enjoy time with her fur babies. Nurses of G.B. Cross – utmost gratitude to you. You all kept Michelle comfortable with utmost respect and compassion – for that we are so very grateful. Lisa – we cannot thank you enough for leaving your Ontario life to spend 7 weeks by Michelle’s side. We are eternally grateful to you, as was Michelle.
Cremation has taken place as per Michelle’s wishes and a Memorial service will be held in Ontario at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Clarenville Area SPCA.
