Shirley will be remembered most for the love she had for her family, who loved her deeply. Shirley was a very strong individual who dealt with a lot of heartache and pain over the years, although she never allowed that to effect the love she had for those around her, especially her granddaughters Crystal and Amanda and her great grand children, who filled her with immense joy.
Shirley enjoyed many things in life, she loved collecting Christmas Santa’s and elephants, crocheting, playing cards, travelling, watching the Toronto Blue Jays and curling, she was an avid reader and her favorite books were historical romance. Shirley will be remembered as quick, blunt and funny lady and will be missed tremendously by all who knew her. It filled her heart so much to have had her brothers Terry (Peggy) and Gene come visit last year! you’re at peace now MOM rest easy.
