As morning dawned on Monday, October 13, Marion Elizabeth Little passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones.
Marion, affectionately known as Mackie, had a zest for life and a curiosity about her world. She made the best cod chowder, was passionate about our universe and spent decades perfecting her talents painting and sewing, often while listening to some classical music.
Marion is predeceased by her husband, Lewis Clement Little. Whether they were travelling the woods roads or navigating the Atlantic Ocean on their boat, the Marion L, they were lucky to enjoy 64 years of great adventures together.
Special thanks to the staff at the Nightingale Manor, and to her niece, Marion, for ensuring she was well cared for over the past 5 years.
A celebration of life will take place at Stacey’s Funeral Home on Thursday, October 17. Visitation from 1-2pm followed by a service at 2pm. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
