It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Pike of St. Lawrence announces his passing. William passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the age of 79.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his sons, Darrell (Amy), Darren (Tracy), Troy (Paula); 7 grandchildren, Bradley, Stephanie, Danielle, Jordan, Devin, Megan and James; 10 great-grandchildren, Zachery, Kristian, Carsen, Grayden, Kaiden, Aiden, Jillian, Ivy, Rhys and Jackson; sisters; Lois Harwood and Flora Pike (Kevin); brothers, Warren and Wayne (Jeanette); special friend Bill Norman, plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
William was predeceased by his wife, Rita; parents, Jessie and Howard Pike; sister, Mildred Inkpen; brother in law, Doug Horwood; sister in law, Lillian Pike.
in honoring William’s wishes, cremation will take place.
The Pike Family will be accepting visitors at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church on:
Friday, March 1st
2:00pm to 4:00pm
7:00pm to 9:00pm
A funeral service will take place at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church at:
Saturday, March 2nd
2:00pm
Interment to follow at St. Matthew’s Anglican Cemetery.
