Passed peacefully away at the Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion in Carbonear on Saturday,
January 20th, 2024, aged 83 years.
Predeceased by his mother and father, Ellen and William Baldwin, brothers Gordon, Jerry, John,
and Willie, sisters Laura, Madeline, Helen and Annette.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 60 years Blanche, sons Michael
(Jodi), Victor, Bradley (Jeanine), daughters Stephanie (Fraser), Wendy (Bob), Tracy (Mark),
Janine (David), his sister Monica and brother Adrian (Marie) and 16 grandchildren, and also a
large number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Special thank you to all his caregivers, with a heartfelt appreciation to Tracy and Meghan for
their love and compassion.
Thank you to the staff of Pleasant View Towers and Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion for their
patience and understanding.
Resting at Broughton’s Funeral Home, Brigus.
Visitation to take place Tuesday and Wednesday, January 23rd and January 24th from 2 – 4 pm
and 7 – 9 pm.
Celebration of Life Service to take place on Saturday, January 27th at 2 pm at Broughton’s
Memorial Chapel, Brigus with refreshments to follow at the Brigus Recreation Centre.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
