Passed peacefully away, on May 25, 2024, at Carbonear Hospital after a lengthy illness, in the presence of his loving family and friends, Frederick Dawe of Brigus, aged 86 years.
Predeceased by his wife, Joyce Marie Dawe (nee Gushue), daughter, Debbie Mercer (Junior), mother, Fannie Dawe (nee Dawe), father, Frederick Dawe, brothers, William John Dawe, Allan Stanley Dawe (Flora, Deceased), Angus Dawe, Samuel Henry Dawe, sisters, Rita Piercey (Rupert, Deceased), Doris Dawe (Kenneth Pennell, Deceased), and Florence Elizabeth Dawe.
Leaving to mourn, partner, Sybil Gushue, sons Randy (Elsie), Rick (Cavell), and Darrin (Susie), grandchildren, Randi (Adam), Lorelei (Darryl), Rhiannon (Brandon), Aaron (Amy), Alannah, Matthew (Madison), Mikayla (Blair), Madison (Marcus), and many other relatives and friends.
Resting at Broughton’s Funeral Home, Brigus, with visitation for one day only on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, from 10:00AM – 12:00PM, 1:30PM -4:30PM, and 7:00PM – 9:00PM.
Funeral to take place on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 3:00PM at Broughton’s Memorial Chapel with interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Brigus.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Brigus United Church Cemetery Fund.
