It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Elizabeth “Betty” LeDrew (née Linthorne) of Cupids on September 3, 2024 at the age of 78.
She was a very kind, outgoing woman who was loved by her family so much. She loved spending time knitting, crocheting, cleaning, baking, enjoying her Tim’s coffee, scratching her bingo tickets and listening to the cabin party. She dearly loved her Grandchildren and loved having family over for one of her famous coldplates or turkey dinners.
Predeceased by her parents Ernest and Hazel Linthorne and parents in law Sterling and Martha LeDrew.
Also, predeceased sibling, brother Nelson Linthorne (wife Shirley) sister-in-law, Mildred Linthorne, brother in law, William Taylor and niece Jennifer Linthorne Taylor.
Leaving to mourn with lifelong precious memories her husband of 56 years, Wilbert LeDrew
Forever loved and missed dearly by her children; Reg, Wanda and Michelle.
Grandchildren; Jada, Dawson, Barbara and Shawn.
Special Nieces; Brenda and Ashley
Special Great-Nieces; Brianna, Gemma and Kendall
Also leaving behind siblings; brother Robert(Bob) sister Bertha Lush(Billy) brother Graham(Patricia) and sister Margaret Taylor
As well as many extended family, treasured nieces, great nieces and friends.

Resting at Broughton’s Funeral Home, Brigus. Visitation on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 11am-9pm. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 2:00pm at Broughton’s Memorial Chapel.
Cremation to follow.
