Memorial Donation
Passed peacefully away on Aug. 5th. at Carbonear General Hospital at the age of 84 with her family by her side, Eileen Walsh of Cupids. She leaves to mourn her six sons, Pat (Bonnie), Tom (Deb), Garry (Denise), Brian (Kim), Raymond (Delilah), Kevin (Dawn) and her daughter Carolann (Billy). Also, Eileen leaves behind her brother-in-law Raymond Walsh and Evelyn plus her sister-in-law Ann Keating. Also missing Nan are her 17 grandchildren who were her pride and joy and are very sad because of Nan’s passing. They are Patrick Parsons (Lacey Hanlon), Ryan Parsons (Alyssa Shaw), Dawn Parsons (Casey Leblanc), Christina Parsons, Jakob Walsh (Erica Hodder), Sam Walsh, Andrew & Michael Walsh, Brianna & Brady Walsh, Liam, Lukas & Bailey Walsh, Taylor, Kaelen, Jayden & Mason Walsh. Great Grandchildren Oalkyn and Miley
Eileen was predeceased by her husband Tom as well as his parents, Mary & Patrick Walsh plus her parents, Martha & Patrick Thistle and her sister Beatrice. Predeceasing her as well were her brother- in – laws and sister -in-laws, William & Mercedes Walsh, Peter & Loretta Quinlan, Vera & Samuel Lannon, Philomena & Don Fowler, James and Joan Walsh, Kevin Keating.
Special thank you goes out to Sadie Parsons, Eileen’s home care worker, who was always available when called upon by Eileen.
Resting at Broughton’s Funeral Home Wednesday 10 – 9 and Thursday Morning 10- 1pm.Funeral Mass will be from St. Patrick’s Church, Brigus at 2pm Thursday with interment at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brigus.
