It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Norman Lander, aged 86 years old. He passed peacefully away at Bonavista Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Predeceased by his parents Greta and William, his little sister Grace, his brother Roy, his sister Marie, brother Wayne, in-laws Wallace Cooper, Eva Waye, and James Waye, brother in laws Eugene Cooper and Freeman Chaulk, sister in laws Violet Cooper and Alvina Cooper and his loving dog Bella.
Left to mourn is his loving wife Flossie, daughter Faye (Grant), granddaughter Jill (Daniel), brothers Eugene (Loretta) and Boyd (Mae), brothers in law Alex, Cyril (Florence) and Irving (Muriel), sisters in law Elizabeth, Kay (William) and the best pup Ruby and a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, November 13th from 2:00-9:00 PM at Strathie’s Funeral Home.
Funeral Service to follow Thursday, November 14th 2:00 PM at Strathies Funeral Home, interment to follow at Anglican Cemetery, Bonavista.
