Passed peacefully away at Golden Heights Manor, Bonavista, Hilda Catherine Quinton aged 96 years.
Predeceased by loving husband Gerald Quinton, parents William and Emily Gould and brother William Gould.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are sisters in law Yvonne Gould and Dorothy Quinton and niece Joyce Gould. As well as a large circle of family and friends.
Hilda will always be remembered for her dedication to St. Michael’s Anglican Church, Red Cliffe where she was an organist for 60+ years. She will also be fondly remembered as serving in the family of business of John Quinton Ltd. for many years.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Golden Heights Manor, Bonavista who gave her outstanding care and compassion, God bless you all!
Also to Delores Fitzgerald, her home care worker for her care and dedication while Hilda was at home in Red Cliffe. Thanks to the people of Red Cliffe for many meals and assistance while she was at home. Also to those who made phone calls and visits to her home which she always enjoyed.
Hilda will be resting at St. Michael’s Anglican Church, Red Cliffe on Tuesday, January 9th 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm
Funeral Service to take place Wednesday, January 10th at 2:00pm from St. Michael’s Anglican Church, Red Cliffe.
Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Red Cliffe.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Hilda’s name to St. Michael’s Anglican Church, Red Cliffe.
