Mrs. Irene Mercer of Shearstown, passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, July 1, 2024. Mrs. Mercer was 83 years old.

Siblings: Frank (Enid), Doris (Baxter), Stan (Linda), & Karen (Doug)
And a large circle of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends…

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Karen Dawson and all of the doctors & nurses on the 6th floor at the Carbonear General Hospital for their compassionate loving care they provided, as well as a thank you to the staff of Slade’s Funeral Home.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, L.T. Stick Dr, Bay Roberts on Wednesday: 11 A.M. – 5 P.M. and 7-9 P.M.
