It is with great sadness and the heaviest of hearts that the family of the late Harold N. Lynch announce his passing in the presence of his family on July 13, 2024 at the age of 74 years.
He was predeceased by his parents Ron & Maisie (Jones) Lynch; parents-in-law: Bill & Agatha (Carpenter) Neil; infant son Harold; brothers; Graham Lynch & Ron Lynch; infant sisters Evelyn & Viola; brothers-in-law: Lloyd Neil, Billy Neil, Bill Clarke and sister-in-law: Pam Neil.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 49 years Brenda (Neil), daughter Cheryl (Gary) Chipman of Upper Island Cove, son Lloyd (Elaine) Lynch of Paradise and six grandchildren: Mason, Rachel, Lucas, Coby, Grayson & Noah; brothers Raymond (Judy) & Randell (Marguerite) Lynch; brothers-in-law Don (Marilyn) Neil, Gordon Neil, Kenneth (Judy) Neil & Tony Neil; Sisters-in-law: Kathleen Lynch, Daphne Lynch, Lillian Clarke, Winnie (Clarence) Noseworthy, Mary (Lorne) Pye, Marg Neil and Pamela Neil as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Special thanks to the Doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre 4NB and ICU, for the kindness and care he received during his stay there.
Cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at Slade’s Funeral Home, Upper Island Cove on Wednesday, July 17, 2024: 10:30 A.M.-1 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harold’s memory to the War Amps at: e-transfer@waramps.ca, donate.waramps.ca or 1-800-250-3030.
The Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 2 P.M. from Slade’s Funeral Home, Upper Island Cove. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery, Upper Island Cove.
