Dave was a person who was always on the go, whether that be fixing something up around the shed, or putting parts in an old truck, he kept himself busy. He loved the game of darts and traveled across Canada, even internationally, playing what he loved.
Most people who knew Dave, knew that he was quick with his words, he was sarcastic and witty, and most always had an answer to everything. Chances are he had a unique nickname for you, and he probably made you laugh. He may not realize how many people he touched with his huge heart, but it was plentiful. We cannot stress enough how that positive light will forever shine through him and his place in this world, the impact he left, or the smiles he created.
He had so many people on this earth who loved and adored him. From many years on the ball field, playing hockey as goalie because he couldn’t skate well, darts, work, and his childhood buddies who grew up to be lifelong friends, or just people he met along the way. He knew just about everyone.
We hope you’re living large, a thick slice of bologna in one hand and a Pepsi in the other with the cabin party on. Time with you on this earth was short, and we are all incredibly angry at the universe for taking you away too quick, but we all know you’re looking down at all of us shaking your head, “bys oh bys”. Here’s to a place where your old truck will never break down. Until we meet again.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the Orange Lodge, Clarke’s Beach on Saturday, November 30th, 2024 from 12 Noon – 7 p.m.
