HOWAT: W. GORDON
May 6, 1931 – March 15, 2024
Gordon Howat of Central Parkland Lodge, Lanigan, SK and formerly of Drake, SK and Lockwood, SK, peacefully passed away March 15, 2024 at the age of 92 surrounded by his family.
Gordon is survived by his wife of 62 years Betty; his children Anita (Jim) Wiens, Greg (Denise) Howat and Ron (Susan) Howat;
grandchildren: Clint Wiens, Tracy (Rick) Toman – Joel, Ashlyn, Callie & Tyson, Courtney (Derek) Thomson – Briar, Kasen & Piper, Kayla (Brady) Holman – Owen, Veronica Howat – Sammi & Hayden; Siblings Doreen Riach and Don Howat; In laws Peggy Montague, Earl (Beth) Meikle, Lois (Kurt) Chalmers, Jim (Cindy) Meikle and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Bob (Dolly) and Jack plus in-laws Murray Montague and Bill Riach.
Gordon was known as a farmer in the Lockwood area for many years and he will be missed. His family would like to thank the staff at Central Parkland Lodge, Lanigan, SK for the excellent care he received the last few years.
Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
