Joyce Scott passed away peacefully in Swift Current on April 16th 2024 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by her husband Ewart. Beloved mother of Bill (Ann), Sheila and Heather (Floyd Jensen). Nana to Douglas Scott (Katelyn), James Scott (Stephanie) and Amy Jensen. Great grandmother to Aubrey Scott.
Joyce was born in Roblin, Manitoba July 25th 1930. After moving to Swift Current and raising her family Joyce returned to the workforce. She spent many happy years working in the office at the Pioneer Coop.
In her retirement she enjoyed reading, visiting friends, spending time with family and a spirited game of Scrabble. She also enjoyed volunteering and spent many hours teaching English and making friends with new residents to Canada.
The family would like to thank the staff at Cypress House and Dr. Steenkamp for their kind care. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
