Ernest “Ernie” Hinger Obituary
On Friday, March 29, 2024 Mr. Ernest “Ernie” Hinger of Goodsoil, Saskatchewan passed away at his home by Lac des Iles at the age of 85 years.
Ernie is survived by his Loving Wife of 63 years, Theresa Hinger; Sons Jim (Connie) Hinger, Allan (Cathy) Hinger, and Bryan Hinger; Grandchildren Christina (Brendan) Schikosky, Tamara (Darren) Maltais, Evan (Sarah) Hinger, Caylene Hinger, Christopher (Kylie) Hinger, and Carley Hinger; Great-Grandchildren Benjamin Schikosky, Harrison Schikosky, Emma Vickers, Wyatt Maltais, William Hinger, Jacob Maltais, and Scarlett Hinger; Sisters Regina (Adam) Fetsch, Phyllis Fuchs; Foster Brother Stanley; Foster Sister Nettie; Sister-in-laws Madalin Hinger and Bertha Hinger; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ernie was predeceased by his Sons David and Mark Hinger; Parents Carl and Annie Hinger, Brothers Vic and Tony Hinger, Sister Agnes (Rick) Goldade.
A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Goodsoil, Sk.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, April 12, 2024 at St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Ernie was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus. If so desired, donations in memory of Ernie may be made to the Knights of Columbus in Goodsoil, or your local Knights of Columbus organization.
