Delma “Victoria” Lasas Obituary
On Sunday, October 20, 2024, Delma “Victoria” Lasas passed away peacefully in Meadow Lake, SK at the age of 76 years. She was born on October 15th, 1948. She was kind, patient, caring, beautiful and kindhearted. Victoria was a loving mother, aunt, grandmother, sister, chapan and friend. She was a good friend to everyone. Victoria was strong in her faith and attended mass religiously at the lodge. She had many hobbies: sewing, crafting, gardening, crocheting, knitting, baking cooking and most of all travelling the world.
Victoria is forever loved and remembered by her Children Barbara Lasas, Carl Lasas, Wayne Lasas, Patricia (Marcel) Bear, Lisa (Howard) Chatelaine, Melina (Rusty) Lasas, Mona Lasas, and Vernon Lasas; Step-Children Joanne Martell, Alcide (Mary Jane) Martell, Elizabeth (Max) Aubichon, Marvin Martell, Donald (Annette) Martell, Vivian Martell, and Judy Martell; Sisters Mary Lasas, Irene Lasas and Frances Lasas; Grandchildren Vernon Lasas, Chad Lasas, Darci Wolverine, Blaire Arcand, Raielle Fisher, Simone Bear, Rebekah Cardinal, Andrew Lasas, Kali Daniels, Jordy Daniels, and Mikayla Daniels; Numerous Great-Grandchildren, Great-Great-Grandchildren, Step-Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and Godchildren.
Victoria was predeceased by her Husband, Edwin Martell; Parents Basil and Marie Lasas; Daughter Cassie Lasas; Step-Daughter Donna Martell; Siblings George Lasas, Leo Lasas, Edwin Lasas, Velma Martell, Violet Ernest, and Michael Lasas.
A Wake Service will start at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, with the Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the Waterhen Lake Community Building, Waterhen Lake First Nation, SK.
