Evelyn passed away on December 2, 2023, in the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current, SK. She was born on March 3, 1951, in Ahtahkakoop First Nation.
The Wake Service for Evelyn will commence at 10:00 AM. on Monday, December 4, 2023, at Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM. on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall. Interment will follow in the St Mark’s Anglican Cemetery, Ahtahkakoop First Nation, SK.
Rev. Roger Bird will officiate services.
Evelyn will be lovingly survived by her sister, Lorraine Knife; her daughters, Rhonda (Darryl) Thomas, Anita Knife, Verla Knife, Dionne (Howard) Thomas; her sons, Raymond Knife, Vincent Knife, Warren Knife, and Terrence (Alice) Knife; her special children Jessica, Albert and Justin; her 40 Grandchildren; her 65 Great Grandchildren; her 3 Great Great Grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and other relatives.
Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Douglas Williams; her parents, Albert & Rose Knife; and her sister, Viola (Edwin) Williams; her adopted brother, Lawrence Little; her son Darrell Williams; her 3 grandchildren, Aiden Williams, Lashonda R. Knife, Adam S. Fineday; as well as a great-grandchild.
