It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Randolph Gerald (Randy) Easton 62 of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on September 28th with his children by his side after a long battle with lung cancer. Randy was born on April 24th, 1962 in Kitchener, Ontario to Sally Fortey. He lived in London Ontario for most of his life before he moved to Saskatchewan. He earned several certifications from Fanshawe College, Science and laboratory technology where he graduated with honours. He had several jobs throughout his life but for the latter part worked as the Operations Manager for Prairie Machine, where he loved to take his grandson Theo to show him all the mighty machines. Randy was a life- long learner who was passionate about travelling, sports and spending time with his family. He particularly enjoyed spending time with his grand- children to whom he was known as funny papa. Randy is survived by his three children Dustin (spouse Alice), Cody (spouse Ellie) and Sarah (spouse Alex), and by his dear grandchildren; Emery, Theo, Easton, Annabel and Juliette. Also by his mother Sally Forty, his siblings; Alan, Debbie, Brian and Lorrie, and their children and grand- children. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the amazing Doctors and Nurses at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon for all the excellent care they provided Randy in his final days and the Saskatoon funeral home for their guidance and compassion during this difficult time.
