Obituary of Joseph Hogan Smith
Joseph Hogan Smith
October 25, 1965 – July 10, 2024
With the utmost of sadness, the family of Joseph announces his sudden passing on July 10 2024 in Saskatoon. Left to cherish his memory: sister, Jodie (Grant); nephews: William and Justin; great nieces and nephews: Trine (Ethan), Maddox, Brooklyn, Desmond and Leila; his beloved Sammy; Uncle Tootie and Aunty Lolly; too many cousins to mention; his brothers from other mothers Johnny, Wayne and Ross; also Gord who took Joe under his wing; and last but not least each and every person Joe called a friend through his Awaiting his arrival are his father Bud, mother Rita, brother Murray, many relatives and friends that departed before him.
Joe, Jobediah, the Urban Hutterite, the Freecycler, the Not For Profit Prophet and many other names he came up with, was a man with the biggest heart, generous spirit, the most powerful quick wit and I can’t leave unmentioned his sense of style and artistry with acquired treasures.
His memory has left an indelible mark on those he loved.
A visitation will be Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 6 – 8 PM at Saskatoon Funeral Home. A memorial service at 1:00 pm will be Friday, July 19, 2024 at Saskatoon Funeral Home.
