In loving memory, the family regrets the sudden passing of Dorothy M. May. She passed away peacefully at Royal University Hospital on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter Myrna May; Son Garry May (Erwin); Daughter-in-Law Fiona May; Grandchildren Sarah (Justin) Lorrain: Caitlin May; Andrew (Emma) May: Great grand children Abigail and Alex Lorrain; Sisters Loretta (Lorne) Davies: and Barbara (John) Ramsey; Sister-in-laws Elvara and Ivadell Davidson; And many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Beryle; father John Davidson, Mother Vera Davidson; Brothers Frankie, Eddie, Doug , and Jimmy Davidson Sister Shirley McLellan; Sister-in-laws Mona Davidson, Nelda Porter, Betty Cummings and Shirley Borzel; Brother-in-laws Ken and Bill May.
Dorothy was born in Meadow Lake, Sask. and moved to the farm outside of Perdue with the family while she was young. She married Beryle May on Oct. 17, 1958. They farmed in Harris, Sask. On Beryle’s family home till 1966 and moved to Saskatoon, Sask. where she had lived until her passing.
Dorothy took care of the family home making sure everything had a place and was put in that place, for she never liked having things out of place or not put away. She did not like clutter.
The Funeral service will be held on Wednesday July 31, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at Saskatoon Funeral Home, 338 4th Avenue North.
