It is with heavy hearts and love, that we mourn the loss of Claire Donalda Bazylak. Claire passed away on October 11, 2023, at the age of 81 years, with family by her side at St. Paul’s Hospital, Saskatoon.
Claire will be missed by her family: daughter, Shirlene (Leo) Palmer; son, Darryl (Tracy) Bazylak; son Jason (Aimy) Bazylak; grandchildren, Mathew & Michael Palmer, Alora (Fraser McLeod) Bazylak, Brandon Wilkinson (Melissa Leason), Frankie, Timmy & Joey Bazylak; sisters-in-law, Elaine Vermette, Lorraine Cheke, Claire Bazylak, and Linda Vermette; brother-in-law Lawrence Debray; numerous relatives including many nieces, nephews, great and great-grand nieces and nephews and special friends.
Claire is predeceased by her husband, Frank Bazylak; parents, Alexander & Lena (Smith) Vermette; siblings & in-laws, Lionel Vermette, Joe Vermette, Angie (Bob) Nicolas, Archie Vermette, Delores Debray, Gilbert (Shirley) Vermette, Ilene (Joe) Sauve, Bev Vermette, and one sister in infancy.
A celebration of her life will be officiated by Fr. Michael Fahlman on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 10:30 A.M. at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 508 Front Street, Duck Lake, Saskatchewan. Immediately following the service, a fellowship lunch will take place at the Belladrome. After lunch and visiting, approximately 1 or 1:30 P.M. we will then go to the committal service at St. Laurent Shrine Cemetery, St. Laurent, SK.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Claire Bazylak to the St. Laurent Shrine, Box 638, Duck Lake, SK S0K 1J0.
