We are heartbroken to announce the death of Reginald Michael Desfosses, on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at the age of 53. Born September 4, 1970, Michael was predeceased by his grandparents, Reginald and Gladys Scott; father, Thomas Adelard Desfosses; aunt, Shanne Scott; uncles, Ken Scott, Richard Scott, Dennis Moffatt; and Sharon Perdue.
He is survived by his mother G. Patricia Scott; brother, John Desfosses; sister, Tylene Desfosses Singh; brother-in-law, Jasbir Singh; as well as numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, colleagues and friends.
Michael will be always remembered for his gentle and giving nature, his amazing sense of humour, his generosity and his ability to find the best qualities in everyone he knew. He loved his work as an electrician, his family and his pets. He was an avid fan of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Montreal Canadiens. While Michael grew up in Regina, he remained a small-town boy in his heart.
We want to thank the staff in the Pasqua Hospital’s Palliative Care Unit (3A) and the Palliative Home Care nurses and workers for their care and compassion in helping us to care for Michael in the last few weeks of his life.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 7pm. Memorial Service will be held at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, friends and family may consider contributions to the Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care Unit, or the charity of their choice, in his name.
