Joyce Eileen Brown, late of Regina, SK, passed away on Tuesday, Aug 27, 2024, at the age of 83 years. Predeceased by her husband, Chuck Brown; and one brother, Gordon Thompson. Joyce is survived by her children, Victor (Karen) of Orangeville, Ontario, Don (Tracie) of Regina, Bill (Ann) of Aubrey, Texas, and Tom (Anabella) of Regina; her brothers, Ken (Joan) of Regina, and Allan of Edmonton; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; as well as numerous loved cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Joyce grew up in Regina and married Chuck in February of 1959. They raised four children in a loving home. In 1972, they started Chuck’s Heating Service. In her time, Joyce also worked for Regina Bull Sale and the Saskatchewan Film Board. She joined The Order of the Eastern Star in 1978, which brought her enjoyment and fulfillment for many years. Joyce loved sailing in Silvia, built by her uncle Seymour.
Joyce will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
Memorial Service will be held at the First Baptist Church, 2241 Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK, on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park.
