It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Brian Douglas Hoiland born Feb 24, 1952. Sadly Brian passed on Dec 1, 2023 after a relentless battle with cancer at the age of 71.
Although Brian lived abroad for parts of his childhood, he settled in Regina where he attended Sheldon Highschool followed by Campion College making his lifelong career as a Management Consultant.
Brian loved adventure, traveling, camping, biking, music and was always eager to learn and try something new. Most of all he loved having fun and enjoyed making people laugh and will always be remembered as a fantastic guy to have around. He loved sports and took part in many over the years. He was a long standing VIP member at the YMCA taking part in the daily noon hour run around Wascana.
Although Brian was well known for his many accomplishments and interests he will be mostly remembered for his absolute kindness and generosity. He was always happy to give you hand when needed and loved to share his knowledge in the many areas that interested him. He loved being a husband, father and Grandfather. We always had his support and it was comforting to know someone always had your back.
Throughout Brian’s life and adventures he had the opportunity to meet many people. He formed friendships, many of which lasted his lifetime and were deeply cherished.
Brian worked hard so he could enjoy life. He retired in 2014 and spent the remainder of his life enjoying his time filled with all the activities he loved, family, friends, happy hours and warm winters in Palm Springs.
Brian is survived by his wife Sharon Hoiland, his two daughters: Carrie Halbgewachs (Jamie), Tanya Mihalicz (Chester). His four Grandsons: Brandon (Shaylee), Jayden, Taylor (Cheyanne) and Noah (Katrina). As well as his two great grandchildren: Willow and Cruise, his Sister, Karen Hoiland, nieces, nephews, inlaws and many beloved friends.
Brian is predecessed by his parents Harold and Margaret Hoiland and brother Alan Hoiland.

Brian is Deeply Loved and will be Forever Missed.
A Celebration Of Life will be held at a later date..
