Betty’s life was a testament to the power of love, joy, and devotion. She found her greatest happiness in the company of her family and friends, embracing every moment with boundless enthusiasm. Whether singing, dancing, playing cards, crocheting, painting, or exploring the great outdoors, Betty’s vibrant spirit and zest for life touched everyone around her. Her unwavering dedication to her family knew no bounds, and she consistently placed their happiness and well-being above all else.
Betty is survived by her adoring children: Natalie, Dawn (Forrest), and Skip (Christine); her cherished grandchildren: Emerald (Tyrel), Mitchell (Nicole), Matthew (Michaela), Drew (Tekayah), Ciara (Brett), Edan (Lake), Elias, Nic, and Hailey; and her treasured great-grandchildren: Theo, Sullivan, Jameson, Owen, Elliot, and Bo. She is also survived by her loving siblings Eydie, Bill, Jack, Frank, and Randy, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Betty was predeceased by her parents, Corney and Alvina Hiebert (nee Lilley), her beloved husband, Gerald “Skip” Sanders, and her precious grandson, Levi.
Betty’s legacy of love, warmth, and dedication to her family and friends will continue to inspire and uplift all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her compassionate spirit and generous heart left an indelible mark on the lives she touched, and her memory will be cherished forever.
