Anna Rita Ollenberger (nee Phaneuf) late of Regina, SK, was born on April 30, 1950, in Lafleche, SK. Anna was an incredibly loving, kind and selfless woman who passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at the age of 74 years. Anna will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 53 years Dale; daughters Shawna (Cory) Kartusch and Melissa (Rob Reddekopp); her grandchildren Addison, Reese, Avery, Hanna and Abby. She is also survived by her Mother Irene; brother Ray (Joanne), sister Joan (Gordon), brother Marty; sisters in-law Charmaine, Pat (Pete), Rosemary, and brother in-law Merle (Barb); nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Anna was predeceased by her father George; granddaughter Cassidy; mother in-law Clara; father in-law Milton; as well as brothers in-law, Dwight, Garry and Jack.
Anna and Dale were the true definition of best friends and were never far apart from each other. They loved to travel and were always helping their daughters and grandchildren. Anna was a special person and everyone she encountered felt special.
Anna battled her brief battle with Cancer, as she did everything thing in her life, with her full heart, amazing courage, strength and determination while worrying more about everyone else more than herself. Anna’s great faith gave her the strength she needed.
A special thank you to the staff and Doctors at the Pasqua Hospital 3B and the incredibly special angels of the Palliative care unit at the Pasqua Hospital.
The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Little Flower Parish, 420 College Avenue, Regina, SK at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina, SK.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Pasqua Hospital Palliative care unit, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK, S4T 1A5 or the charity of your choice. Most importantly we would like you to do an act of kindness for someone else in Anna’s memory.
